For us, the most important thing is that the wedding dress conveys the woman's personality, be it more modern, more romantic, more minimalist. You know that thing where everyone looks at you and says “Wow, that dress looks like her”?
You don't need to and shouldn't feel like a bride on your big day. We will guide you to choose the ideal dress for your style (or for what you want to convey on your wedding day).
We did a survey on our Instagram with the following question: “How would you describe your dream dress?" Some of our followers responded that they were looking for a dress that conveys their personality , but how do you do that?
We women are plural and unique, so there is usually a mix of 2 or 3 styles that represent us, did you know? For example, if you are a more modern woman, straight and angular lines are welcome. Different from curved lines, which convey romanticism and sensuality. If you identify with both styles, just mix elements of both styles harmoniously to create an interesting mix full of personality.
Here we have selected some main styles aimed at types of necklines, details and shapes. We look for dresses within our creations that contain elements to illustrate what we are going to observe next. Let's find out which one you identify with?

1. ROMANTIC : Romantic women are those considered sweet, delicate, attentive, vain. They like lace details, ruffles, bows, silhouettes that emphasize the waist.
Bets: lace (from the most traditional to the most modern), embroidery, lightness, delicacy, princess or soft “A” silhouette. Curved lines in general, tulle, polka dot tulle, strapless, off-the-shoulder neckline.
*
2. MODERN : Uncomplicated, objective, dynamic, free, confident, powerful women. They like asymmetry and can explore both a clean/minimalist and extravagant look.
Bets: straight and angular lines, unusual shapes, slits, fluid fabrics, smooth dresses, textures. “V” neckline, muslin, halter, deep necklines, mesh.
*
3. TRADITIONAL : Reserved, conservative and organized women. They especially like the princess silhouette, lace, bows and embroidery.
Bets: curved lines, lace, princess or semi-mermaid silhouette, sweetheart neckline, boat neckline, off-the-shoulder. They don't usually dare with necklines. The look usually comes with a veil with applications or a mantilla. The more classic bride usually opts for a cleaner model, without lace, but still in the same type of shapes and necklines.
Although these models have elements of the traditional style such as the sweetheart neckline and the A-line silhouette, the final set moves more between a romantic and modern style.

4. SENSUAL : confident, glamorous and powerful women. They like to enhance their body and focus on transparency and slits. Embroidery usually pleases them.
Bets: slits, transparency, mermaid or semi-mermaid shape, embroidery, neckline. Sensuality is linked to curved lines, so the rounded neckline is welcome for sensual women. The shape generally enhances the body, highlighting the curves of the female body. One way to have this style present without being too daring is, for example: opt for a deep neckline with a straighter skirt, which will bring balance and this way, the look is not “too much” for the occasion.

As we said before, most of the time, a wedding dress is made up of a combination of styles. Here at Atelier, for example, brides are often modern and romantic, and also more MINIMALIST. These are the styles by which the Atelier also identifies itself when creating.
Minimalism can accompany any style mentioned above, where “less is more” . In other words, if we explore more elements and details on the body, we opt for a smoother skirt. Or if you have more lace information, we opt for a more delicate lace. Or, if the dress has a deeper neckline, slit, it is smoother, without many textures. This generates a harmonious and ideal result for uncomplicated, objective, modern brides who dream of getting married in a dress that reflects their personality.
The cool thing about style is playing around and discovering what you identify with and what you want to convey on your wedding day. It's also worth thinking that your look is a set, hair, makeup, dress, accessories, shoes... everything contributes to the result you want <3 By doing all this, the result will make you gasp!
And you? Which style do you identify with? What elements cannot be missing from your wedding dress? Deep neckline? Income? Can you start imagining how you want your dress? Tell us in the comments, we want to meet you!
